We are the 9th Joint School Law Association (HKJSLA). As a student-led society, we aim to bolster students’ understanding in the legal field by holding a plethora of events, such as (but not limited) to career talks, legal workshops and the flagship Mentorship Program.

VANESSA MA

President
St. Paul’s Co-educational College

Vanessa, a F.5 student at St. Paul's Co-educational College. As someone who is passionate in areas related to humanities since a young age, particularly history, economics and law in which topics such as but not limited to law of contract in property law, jurisprudence, ancient history, have engaged some of the areas of my interests. Leaving aside my academic endeavours, my hobbies include reading, dancing and running. 

Jaxon ho

External Vice President
La Salle College

Jaxon Ho is currently a F.5 student at La Salle College. He has a clear and innovative vision of the world and the future. Besides from being the External Vice President of La Salle College, he is also an extraordinarily young entrepreneur specializes in garment, esports and multimedia industries. He is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder Quinity Esports And Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (from 2020), the Chief Executive Officer of Akita (HK) Company Limited (from 2023) and the Chairman of La Salle College Campus TV Production Team (2021-2022, 2022-2023). With his unstoppable ambition in every fields he specializes in, the 9th Hong Kong Joint-School Law Association is destined to have the greatest growth of all years since its establishment. His ability to cope with the marketing needs for the 9th Hong Kong Joint-School Law Association is guaranteed.

Sammie wong

Internal Vice President
Good Hope School

Sammie Wong is currently a F5 student, studying at Good Hope School, with vivid visions for the world and the society. She is the Internal Vice-President of the 9th Hong Kong Joint School Law Association. With ambitious goals to make a change for the underprivileged, she promised to educate more future young leaders to make the change to the world through brining various programs to the society. The determined spirit in her, she pledges to give members and secondary school students a fruitful year of learning, educate many and to bring life changing impacts to others.

isabelle ho

Public Relations Director 

Sacred Heart Canossian College

Isabelle Ho is a form 5 student studying in Sacred Heart Canossian College. She has strong communication skills and problem solving skills. She is proficient in graphic design and excels in drawing. She is passionate in the fields of commercial and criminal law so just feel free to talk to her about it.

Cherry Wong

St. Paul's Co-educational College

Cherry Wong is a F5 IBDP student from St. Paul's Co-educational College. She takes the electives History, Economics, and Chemistry, and aspires to study law in university. Immensely interested in the legal profession, she is a competitive mooter and debater and also convened her own law club at school. This year, she serves as the Financial Director of the 9th HKJSLA, hoping to connect with others who share her passion in law. In her spare time, she writes stories and essays, joins MUN conferences, and goes long-distance running.

Martina, a Grade. 11 IBDP student at Li Po Chun United World College. I’m thrilled to be serving as the Editor-in-chief of HKJSLA this year. I have always been passionate about legal and legislative systems, which allow me to open up my mind and broaden my horizon. Moreover, the opportunity to hear from people with different perspectives provides me a platform to learn the virtue of a dynamic and open environment where we can discuss social issues and current affairs—looking forward to bringing all of you extraordinary events in the future!

Hebe Lam, a S5 student studying at Diocesan Girls’ School, my hobbies include choral singing, reading and traveling. I am honoured to be serving as the administrative director of the 9th Hong Kong Joint School Law Association, and I hope that by facilitating the smooth running of events, like-minded people who are interested in Law will be brought together. I hope everyone will find our events insightful!

Karmen tsai

Renaissance College

Karmen is a Year 11 student studying at Renaissance College Hong Kong, she is delighted to be serving as the secretary of the 9th board of Hong Kong Joint School Law Association. Outside of HKJSLA, she is the Public Relations Director for Hong Kong Inter-school Mooting and Mock Trial Association and the leader for both RCHK's Law Society and Mooting and Mock trial team.
